Sandra has been involved with theatre in Saint John for many years and is currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors. She has acted (39 Steps, Betrayal, The Importance of Being Earnest, Glengarry Glen Ross) directed (Pride & Prejudice, Macbeth at Fort La Tour, Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, Sense and Sensibility, Taming of the Shrew), and written (6 plays performed at Fundy Fringe Festival and Script Happens). Sandra is a professor of sixteenth and seventeenth century literature at UNB Saint John.
