Call For Interest

Are you interested in theatre arts?

Open call for expressions of interest in the Saint John Theatre Company (SJTC) Board of Directors!

Over three decades, SJTC has grown from a handful of volunteers producing a few community-theatre productions each year to almost a dozen staff organizing and presenting 180+ performances each year. Offering a broad spectrum of opportunities and experiences for artists and audiences, the Company's lineup now includes mainstage blockbusters and intimate studio productions, commissioned works and Artist-in-Residence activities, seasonal collaborations, and annual festivals (Fundy Fringe and Shakespeare).

SJTC'S offices, set-building workshop, and 90-seat rehearsal/studio space are housed at 112 Princess Street in uptown Saint John. In addition, the company is overseeing the renovation/expansion of the historic Saint John County Courthouse on King's Square, creating an exciting new facility to house our region's only professional theatre company - ARC (Atlantic Repertory Company).

As SJTC has grown, its Board of Directors has adapted. But it remains a group of committed individuals who love helping local creativity to flourish. We welcome others with that same commitment!
